Scott Walker is an accomplished leadership consultant, executive-forum facilitator and coach with more than 41 years of broad business experience. Through senior sales, procurement, management and leadership positions at IBM, CSC, Avanade and Gryphon Citadel he discovered his true calling… helping individuals, teams, businesses and organizations advance in their leadership capabilities.

Walker Services Group was founded in 2006, and as a Chair with Convene, Scott, was responsible for providing executive forum and coaching services. He then added a broader set of services as a founding member of the John Maxwell Team providing speaking, training and coaching services built around the leadership philosophies of John Maxwell.

In 2017, Scott introduced the TL Matrix, which enables organizations to map their journey from Theoretical Leadership to Transactional Leadership to Transformational Leadership to Transformissional Leadership.

Scott lives in Kennett Square, PA, with his wife Joan. Together they have three grown sons and seven grandchildren.

The Story

In many ways the founding of Walker Services Group, LLC—in January of 2006—reflects lessons from Jesus’ miracle when he fed the crowd. We read in Matthew 14 how Jesus used a boy’s simple meal of five loaves and two fish to feed over 5,000 people, how the young boy could have held on to his small meal but gave it to Jesus, how the disciples saw the boy’s “little” while Jesus saw a need to collect the excess, how the disciples spent their time focused on what they didn’t have while Jesus brought attention to what they did have, and what seemed like a miracle to the disciples was simply a reminder that “nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

In the years since Walker Services Group was formed, the “little” that was brought to Jesus on that first day has directly and indirectly impacted thousands of lives. Over two hundred executive forums hosted, full day leadership events serving hundreds of attendees, team leadership development sessions, strengths based discovery for over a thousand individuals, over a thousand executive coaching sessions, creation of myLEADERSHIPu, and consulting on strategic planning, brand messaging, and other business related topics. While much has been accomplished since the first day there is still much more to be done.
